Tracking LinkedIn conversions and Insight Tag
LinkedIn Insights tag is a piece of smaller JavaScript code which we have added to our web pages in order to enable reporting on in-depth campaigns and help us unlock valuable insights on our web pages’ visitors. We use LinkedIn Insights Tag to track the conversions, audience retargeting and to unlock additional insight about members who interacted with our LinkedIn ads.
LinkedIn insights Tag makes the collection of metadata, such as IP address information, timestamp and events like page content, possible. All of the data is coded. LinkedIn Browser Cookie is saved in the visitor’s browser until the cookies are erased or expired (six months from the last time the visitor’s web browser loaded Insights Tag).
